"I AM NOT A NUMBER! I AM A FREE MAN!"

Part allegory, part memoir, part big bouncy killer blobs, Patrick McGoohan's The Prisoner is one of those shows that everyone who's seen it says you should watch, and you really should. The series achieves exactly what Number Six attempts to do with every foiled escape, every act of resistance against The Village and its rotating cast Number Twos - it asserts itself as one-of-a-kind, a series that cannot be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed, or numbered.
